Muir Family Reunion
Post Reunion
Hello all:
Wow… has it been over a week already since the reunion…time flies! What a wonderful time we had…it was so great to see everyone and spend some time catching up and laughing! Thanks again to Jennie and Mark and family for the wonderful Hawaiian Luau. And to Jeremy for the web site and Annie for the outing on Friday to Thermopolis. Bonnie and Trudie – great picture board and the cookie bouquet was a nice and tasty touch.
Susie, Truda and Alex – the interviews were well done and we look forward to you sharing them with the group.
Speaking of sharing….the photos taken on Saturday night will be sent soon to everyone via e mail. Jennie shared a copy with me and Dad last week and they are great…nice job Mark! Thank you.
The pictures taken at the Wagon Box are now on PJ’s web site. Below are the details to access. The sitting fee has already been taken care of and we will be purchasing a CD with all the pictures (which we will copy for the families). You can expect the CD in about 30 days. If you wish to get a specific photo outside of the CD, that is, a print of a certain size, you can order directly from PJ. All special orders will be professional touched up (so if say as an example you’d like to look 20 lbs lighter..talk to PJ
)

Pictures:
The photographer will be taking group and family photos before dinner at the Wagon Box. She is suggesting that we coordinate the groups clothing selection, such as having families wear similarly colored clothing. She recommends we go with creams, blues, neutrals, browns. So work it amongst your groups to get the best photos. She also suggests you avoid large patterns, stripes, plaids (solid colors always photograph best). She also noted (and sorry if this is too much detail and I’m not making this up) that ladies be sure to wear matter powder for a soft smooth complexion….o.k. for those that don’t wear makeup don’t sweat it, for those that do…well you know the drill.
Schedule of Events
Dates: Friday Aug 21st – Sunday Aug 23rd
Additional activities scheduled Monday Aug 24th – 28th for those in town longer

Dear Muir Family Reunion Attendees:
It’s hard to believe the Muir Family Reunion is only a few short seven weeks away! Information around the event to include dinners, lodging, activities etc is listed below. Jeremy Muir has graciously volunteered to use his web site for communication: http://www.muirfamilyreunion.com
Please visit: http://www.evite.com/app/publicUrl/UYIGXUTXTPNYHFFFTQZB/muirfamilyreunion to register for the event, so we have a count of how many people will be attending
Please do register as soon as possible so we know who is coming and can ensure enough food and libations for the dinners. Each person attending should register. Also we don’t have all the nieces/nephews’ e mail addresses so please pass this note on to any of the kids missing from the distribution list.
Two dinners are arranged for Saturday Aug 22nd and Sunday Aug 23rd and we have a photographer scheduled to take pictures at the Sunday dinner. In additional to the full family and Dad/Mom & sibling shots, you can also schedule individual or specific family pictures as well. More information on how to do this will be sent soon.
We are still looking for activity leads (if people are interested) for A) an afternoon of tubing down the Thermopolis River, and B) fishing and C) biking. Please let me know if you’d like to lead any of these activities. Also we need someone to help with a family picture board which we would like to display at the Sunday night dinner and BBQ, please contact me if you’d like to lead this effort. Also if there are other activities or ideas you have around making this a fun and memorable experience for everyone please let Jeremy and or Dixie know.
Accomodations:
Rooms have been put on hold (block of rooms) at Zee Bar Hotel, located on highway 16, In order to reserve a cabin you will need to contact Terri at the Zee Bar 1-888-313-1227 no later than Friday July 24th. We are being provided a group discount and room rates are around $70/night. Some rooms have kitchenettes, all have refrigerators. The motel is nice with a picnic and BBQ area outside the cabins and should provide a great place for socializing and catching up…and of course enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. It is recommended to avoid over crowding at the folks place we all get a cabin. http://www.zbarmotel.com/lodging.html
